As we've been getting ready to begin our first quarter novel, Station Eleven , we've been learning a bit about Shakespeare and his time. Deep in thought - so close to the finish! Instead of a lecture, though, we did a virtual breakout room called The Missing Script. The students were on teams of three who had to solve a series of puzzles, riddles, and other challenges to return the missing script to William Shakespeare. Putting together the pieces of a virtual puzzle This group was so persistent on a challenging level - excellent show of resilience! It took us two days, but we had some winners in the breakout challenge. Congratulations to our first place team - they returned the missing script first! Way to go, second place team! After a few hurdles, this team rocketed to a third place finish. Be sure to ask your students what they learned from the breakout!
